Paper M is a bi-annual journal that extends an invitation to interdisciplinary practitioners to delve into the cultural dimensions of architecture as an epistemic tool, enhancing the profound relationship between humanity and machines. By examining buildings through the lens of humanism, this publication delves into the exploration of art, formality, and a tête-à-tête with technological opportunities.
The journal seeks pivotal analogies for a human-centered response to systems, culture, sustainability, and materiality. It is characterized by a survey of historical perspectives and the autonomy of the present condition. The contextual development of design is buttressed by reflective practices, creating a liminal space where the colloquial entities of Monster, Maker, Man, and Machine reveal themselves.
